“When it came to dating, I was able to have some initial success (sometimes), but it would always peter out after a certain point early on. I was either missing something or doing something wrong. After I had stumbled my way across various blogs and forums of lukewarm advice, I found Pat on Twitter. I set up the initial consultation, gave him the story that led me to that point, and I signed up for his coaching. He’s very personable; it was easy to open up and it was like talking to an old friend. I think that’s one of the most important qualities of this type of work. If you feel uncomfortable about certain topics, how can you get all the help you need? We looked at my original approach, and Pat went through the strengths and weaknesses, as well as delved into my reasoning behind certain decisions. He’ll help you find the “why” behind some of the choices you make, and steers you from those weaknesses. Pat doesn’t just list out cookie-cutter instructions either – he helps lead you the insights he finds you’re missing (there were times I needed quite a bit of leading too). Some were counterintuitive to what I had initially thought. Pat is also very responsive when you are putting the philosophy into action – going on dates, new relationships, etc. Last-minute questions, pep talk, strange situations pop up; Pat’s there. Not long after I linked up with Pat, I started talking to a woman I was very interested in, but this time I wasn’t timidly going forward. I put his lessons and philosophy into action, and even at times when I was a bit uncomfortable, I stayed the course. We have been seeing each other for months now, and Pat gave me the tools to get further than I ever have before in a relationship.”
