Been on a classic movie bender as of late. And I found myself all the way back in the 50s, comparing the two iconic actresses of that era… Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.

Very different archetypes of women… which we will be exploring shortly. What’s interesting is that Marilyn has been promoted more in the “pop culture” scene – perhaps because of her death, but with nevertheless some relevance, as you might call her a prototype for a lot of female programming that came later.

Anyway, let’s explore two of their respective films: “Roman Holiday,” and “Some Like It Hot.”

I’m not going to go through a deep analysis of these films, as you probably haven’t seen them. You should.

(“Some Like It Hot” was very funny, but seems ominous when you look at society today…)

But basic gist of the female characters:

Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday is the daughter of a prestigious royal family in Europe. She’s barely an adult, yet treated as a child.

So she runs away, gets found inadvertently by a down-for-luck American Journalist, and they have a whirlwind romance over a period of days, each pretending to be someone they’re not.

Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot is a used up singer in an all female band. She’s run away from her old life and tends to fall on hard luck, especially in her choice of men

Easy to manipulate, as she is not very bright… she falls for a “damaged” WASP who pretends to not feel love after heartbreak years ago, and entices her to try to fix him (the guy in truth is a bum, who is dressing as a woman in her band to hide from the mob… it’s complicated).

THE POINT is that Audrey is a very impulsive, childlike feminine. She gets into trouble, but charms her way out of it (she plays a similar role in Breakfast At Tiffany’s). She draws men to her by her bright-eyes and zest… he radiance.

There is a deep love in her, but hard to win over. You are her everything, but she’s got things to do. Hard to tame, but she inspires an irresistible desire to pursue. You feel like life is where she is at.

Marilyn, in contrast, is more the “bird with the broken wing.” She gives off a more sultry and seductive vibe… part of you wants to use her, part of you wants to save her.

She has much more connection to her sexual energy. There’s a sense that she wants you more than anything in the world. But you will have to take care of her, as she might just fall apart.

In case you haven’t figured it out, I wasn’t a big fan of Marilyn. Part of it is perhaps because she’s a little more curvy than I prefer (not judging, she’s objectively attractive), but the main reason is pretty simple:

Marilyn is LOW VIBRATION

She’s a stupid slut who runs game with her helplessness and sexuality to draw in guys to save her. She plays on the lower instincts in men, and inspires them to expend their energy taking care of her, rather than to be their best self.

While I acknowledge she means well – there is no negative intention, she inflicts most damage on herself not others – you can see life with Marilyn as blowjobs in your convertible on the freeway one day and you having to call 911 the next because she OD’d on painkillers. She’s the kind of sad soul you tend to find in prostitution, getting abused by her pimp.

Meanwhile…

Audrey is HIGH VIBRATION

Her femininity is alluring, she pulls men in because she energizes everyone she comes in contact with. She is confident and impulsive, emotionally open — she will cry, and look to you for reassurance — but will then feel better and want to do something fun. And if you don’t want to come along, she’ll do it herself.

There’s an intelligence to Audrey, even though she doesn’t identify with it. What she wants is to live and love. There is passion to her, but it’s not erotic, it’s romantic. You can tell there is a shyness around her sexuality — it’ll open for a man who deserves it, but that’s all. She gives light to all around, but guards her castle.

Which is why it’s no surprise that Marilyn tends to attract men who are weak / sneaky — “nice guys” who have covert agendas, as well as players who just want to take from her — while Audrey attracts men who are much more integrated in their masculinity. They have more of a heroic energy, and she encourages that in them.

And it’s also no surprise that in the end, Hollywood began to elevate the Marilyn archetype over the Audrey one. Can’t have women with femininity and self-respect, can you 😉

Anyway, highly recommend you watch some movies with these ladies and judge for yourself.

And recommend even more you aim to date one more like Audrey than Marilyn.

The latter are a dime a dozen these days. Too many broken girls who see themselves as fuck dolls, and grew up without healthy men in their lives.

The former, however? Women who will actually raise your energy?

They’re much harder to find.

But they’re out there.

You just need to become the man who attracts them… and know where to look.

Good news: I can help you do both of those things. You might even call me an expert in it.
