My wife and I have a little Halloween tradition we’ve started of watching the Rocky Horror Picture Film each year around that spooky night.
(Last year we saw a live performance in a movie theatre while drunk off flat champagne… good times)
Anyway, something struck me last year and was internalized even further when I watched it a few days ago.
Before I go into this… I want to make something clear on a “macro” level that isn’t specific to women, but is yet responsible for a lot of it.
(context, context)
We are currently going through a Zeitgeist shift.
A zeitgeist, for the uninitiated, is “the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas and beliefs of the time.”
The zeitgeist changes about every 30-50 years.
Midway through a “generational cycle.”
You can make an argument that there are subtle shifts every decade or so, but most of this is just the gradually changing of terrain as you go down the hill.
Things don’t really shift until a new “big” generation comes of age and sets the new culture.
Anyway, the last zeitgeist shift occurred in the 1960s — really the end of the decade, though signs began showing after the election of Kennedy.
And it was pretty much a complete inversion of culture by the time it was done.
1959 was *unrecognizable* from 1969.
And though things cooled down after Vietnam… the spirit of ’68 has continued to tangle itself in society, as the Boomers — who came of age during this period — didn’t simply leave their mark on culture, but began to run it.
You started to see this at the end of the Cold War. Clinton’s election was the first time a boomer became President.
And gradually over the next decade, Congress shifted to more and more a “boomer” polity.
By Obama’s second term, there was scarcely any of the “Greatest Generation” left.
Which is why it’s no coincidence things started to really shift in 2014.
I felt it. I know many of you felt it as well.
2015 was even worse.
And though I attempt to stray directly from politics on this site… it was the sign “boomer culture” (which is at heart the ’68 revolutionary ethos) had become completely unchecked.
Which is why it’s no surprise Trump started ushering in the backlash… which as anybody has seen has now been growing in power and influence.
We are seeing that old “spirit of ’68” get snuffed out… for good.
And by 2024 American culture will be radically different from 2014.
Anyway, why do I mention all this… and wtf does this have to do with Rocky Horror Picture Show?
Rocky Horror Picture Show was subversive push-back against the old (at the time) “greatest gen” zeitgeist.
It starts off with a classic, campy WASP guy and girl, all prim and proper, getting married and so perfectly in love… and ends with a transexual sleeping with both the guy and girl, and the girl being so sexually unleashed she also sleeps with the hot, muscular “rocky” creation.
It’s a reason why hipsters and lefties love the movie, because it’s a vanguard film for the spirit of ’68. Most of the material is literally stuff you see when you’re changing the channel today.
It championed free love, violating sacred bounds… and (I’m sure the red pill guys will love this)… encouraging female hypergamy to be let loose.
Just check out the lyrics to Susan Sarandon’s famous song “Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch me”:
I was feeling done in
Couldn’t win
I’d only ever kissed before
You mean she?
Uh huh
I thought there’s no use getting
Into heavy petting
It only leads to trouble
And seat wetting
Now all I want to know
Is how to go
I’ve tasted blood and I want more
I’ll put up no resistance
I want to stay the distance
I’ve got an itch to scratch
I need assistance
Touch-a touch-a touch-a touch me
I wanna be dirty
Thrill me, chill me, fulfill me
Creature of the night
Then if anything grows
While you pose
I’ll oil you up
And rub you down
(She sings this right before she sleeps with the hot guy, guilt-free about cheating on her fiancee)
So I mention all of this for two reasons.
One, because it’s interesting to understand how cultures shift.
Even in 1975 Rocky Horror Picture Show was too edgy. It was panned by (likely greatest gen) critics, and only survived as a cult film.
Now it’s in full bloom… though not for much longer.
Which is perhaps why some of you should understand why I speak out in the way I do.
I consider the Red Pill and its like an “inflammatory response” to the spirit of ’68 feminism.
It’s designed to combat it… but like inflammation, it’s really tied to the problem and part of it. The more inflammation, the worse the patient gets.
In contrast, I see the Zeitgeist shift and am trying to bring men and women into the new culture – one that will heal male-female relationships, leaving both parties satisfied again.
Because the second reason is this:
Hypergamy is a real, natural female impulse that can be muted by culture.
But it is also a female response that can be exaggerated by culture.
The truth is I don’t think it’s natural for women to be purely controlled by hypergamy.
Women do this only when they are unintelligent and insecure. Acting like an animal without forethought or deep consideration is a product of low consciousness and neuroticism. Women who do this don’t end up well… and guess what… GETTING FUCKED OVER IS NOT AN EVOLUTIONARY STRATEGY.
And as you can see with EVERYTHING in the “spirit of ’68” narcissistic, shit-can degenerate culture, women have been programmed to be thots and to be at their lowest level.
Culture wasn’t a matter of allowing hypergamy to “run wild.”
It was a matter of **encouraging** it against other female impulses.
It was socially engineered — by movies like Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Point is.. there are many inputs into human behavior, not just sex.
And I believe that even most women are starting to question just how desirable its been to allow this hypersexuality.
Yes, the tide is still low. We’ve got a long way to go.
But it’s coming in.
Anyway, Zeitgeist shifts are periods of big opportunity… since much of the public is doing things wrong.
They’re lost in the old era which is vanishing in front of them.
But those who “get it” will reap the spoils.
(Including the best women out there today.)
All you need to achieve this?
Deep work to get your mind sorted out, and a visceral understanding of how people operate.
Which is what I provide for you… and on a timely basis, so you can still reap the advantages.
No, I don’t sell you a fairy tale.
But I do sell you skills, discernment, and close mentorship.
And with all of that, ultimately — hope.
I have changed my life, and change other mens lives every week — watching them upgrade their awareness and abilities with women. Seeing them get great women and grounding in who they are.
