I’m sure you’ve been there before.
You’re sitting there, eyes locked.
You’ve had a great meal. Chemistry is flowing. Sexual tension in the air.
Your hand is sidling up closer to hers across the table.
Suddenly, the server comes over.
“Do you guys want anything else or should I just bring you the check?”
You feel a sense of anxiety wash over you.
“Sure, thanks,” you say.
But in the back of your head you’re wondering, should you pay or should she? Or should you guys split?
In the modern era, women have cash. Should the burden still be on your shoulders? Or can we get a little dating equality here?
This is a topic I’ve been hearing A LOT about recently, both from my own market of guys as well as the ladies, who are as confused as anyone.

Interestingly enough, I *never* (ok, once) had a problem with girls and paying on dates. Usually it was all smooth and seamless, with nary an awkward moment.
But it was because I knew what I was doing, and I maintained my boundaries.
