Today I jumped on a bus from NYC to south jersey.

It was crowded, and there were a lot of standbys. It was (sadly) clear all of them were not going to get on.

Bodies were fighting to get in.

So, I was a bit surprised to see a girl on the bus had placed her *large* suitcase not under the bus (like everyone else), but on the seat next to her… as if it was not going to get removed within the next minute.

A very “basic” move, if you will.

My curiosity piqued, I took a look at her to assess more carefully.

– A certain je ne sais quoi exaggerrated make-up

– Legs crossed, back towards humanity

– Scrolling through instagram

– Resting look of disdain

A lot of strong signals of “basicness.”

But, there was one last variable to assess.

How would she respond when the moment of truth came?

Finally, a guy came to claim his seat. The driver, shockingly politely, offered to carry her suitcase down for her.

With condescension, she replied:

“umm is it going to be ok under there?”

“yes, of course, that’s where everybody’s stuff is”

“are you like sure?”

“…”

The guy moved in and said hi, yet annoyed at the “inconvenience” he had caused, she gave him a dismissive look and turned away.

Vocal fry, attitude… she was a perfect case study of a basic you-know-what.

Fortunately for him, he read the signals and declined to engage further.

Yet most men do the opposite, prostrating themselves at the prospect of a taste of these entitled wenches.

Anyway, point being?

I know it might be tough when they’re pretty, but don’t be one of those guys.

Subcommunication is crucial in figuring out who someone really is in dating, and these girls are radioactive with their red flags.

A concept I talk about extensively in my book coming out tomorrow, Tackling Texting.

It’s ~90 pages.

Chocked full of content and examples.

And, principles that are universal and timeless, which will upgrade your mental software forever.

(regardless of whether we’re going to be texting via 3D cat gifs by the end of the decade)

Most marketers would dilute this into a rambling video series and charge you $40.

I’m making it concise and charging you $4.99.

A steal, but I’m playing a long game.

Buy it, and leave a review.
